The tranquil nightfall seeps across the sky,
and drips down to immerse me
in quicksilver slivers of starlight
washed up on the eventide
that gently laps at my knees.
I wrap the liquid darkness around me,
soft, glittering midnight
and submerge myself in starlight sensation's
frozen wastes and silent depths.
I sacrificed my tongue to thee, mistress.
